Beach Restoration News
January 9, 2008 - "There will be no construction anywhere along Destin’s 6 miles of beach during 2008 Spring -Summer Seasons. The restoration of Destin’s eastern beaches (the Crystal Beach area) was completed last summer, and that 2-mile stretch of beach is now 100 feet wider... By summer of 2009 we hope to have all of Destin’s remaining 4 miles of beach restored." Visit the City of Destin website for more info.
